Brian specializes in building rich client applications with XAML and HTML 5, as well as the services that back them with Web APIs and WCF Services. Brian has authored a number of books including Developers Guide to Microsoft Prism 4, Smart Client Deployment with ClickOnce, and Data Binding with Windows Forms 2.0, and speaks at conferences worldwide including Microsoft TechEd, VSLive!, DevIntersection, and others. Brian got started programming as a hobby while flying F-14 Tomcats in the U.S. Navy, later turning his passion for software into his current career. Chris Woodruff (or Woody as he is commonly known as) has a degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University’s College of Engineering. Woody has been developing and architecting software solutions for almost 15 years and has worked in many different platforms and tools. He is a community leader, helping such events as Day of .NET Ann Arbor, West Michigan Day of .NET and CodeMash. He was also instrumental in bringing the popular Give Camp event to Western Michigan where technology professionals lend their time and development expertise to assist local non-profits. As a speaker and podcaster, Woody has spoken and discussed a variety of topics, including database design and open source. He is a Microsoft MVP in Visual C# and was recognized in 2010 as one of the top 20 MVPs world-wide.

He has 20 years of experience building enterprise applications and specializes in delivering web-based solutions using the Microsoft stack with client technologies like TypeScript and AngularJS. A 4-time Microsoft MVP, Jeremy is the author of several books that cover XAML technologies like Silverlight and Windows 8.1 and speaks frequently at user group events and conferences. Jeremy lives in Woodstock, GA with his wife, daughter, three dogs and an Ecclectus parrot. He loves hiking, running, skiing, shooting guns and shooting pool (9-ball is his favorite game).
